Somewhere between the blur of the modern to-do list and the constant drip of dopamine from doomscrolling, we’ve all accepted a lie:
“Busy means valuable.”
I call BS.
We’re not here to chase exhaustion like it’s a trophy. We’re not here to worship the grind like it’s God. And we sure as hell aren’t here to fill every waking minute with tasks just so we don’t feel guilty for resting.
No, friend. That’s the old software.
That’s the outdated code of a culture obsessed with doing over being, producing over creating, surviving over thriving.
And today?
I’m choosing something different.
I’m choosing to give up waste in exchange for wonder.
🚫 Waste?
Yeah. The kind of waste that doesn’t just fill trash cans — it fills your mind.
- Wasted energy on things you “should” do but never chose.
- Wasted time managing chaos instead of building something real.
- Wasted identity trying to be everything for everyone, forgetting your own spark.
- Wasted hours on tasks a $20/month AI can do in ten seconds flat.
I used to think doing it all myself made me authentic.
Now I realize it just made me tired.
🌟 Wonder?
That’s what I’m reclaiming.
Wonder is time spent writing stories that make my heart race.
Wonder is hearing a melody and letting it pull me into a memory.
Wonder is holding my daughter’s hand and being all the way there.
Wonder is letting AI handle the copy so I can go chase the lightning in my soul.
It’s not about being lazy. It’s about being alive.
It’s about remembering that life isn’t a task list — it’s a playground.
And the more I let go of the busywork and the burnout, the more I can hear the voice that says:
“Hey… you were made for more than this.”
⚡️ So Here’s the Spark:
I’m not here to hustle harder.
I’m here to align faster.
To say yes to ease. To say yes to tools. To say yes to using every bit of tech, insight, and intuition available to carve a path that is mine.
The more waste I let go of — mentally, emotionally, spiritually — the more wonder I find in the margins.
And isn’t that the whole point?
Embracing the Spark isn’t about burning out.
It’s about lighting up.
And today, the match is this truth:✴️ It’s not about doing it all.
It’s about choosing what matters —
and making room for wonder to walk in.
Let’s build that kind of life.
Together.
Right now.
