EVIDENCE MODE When supported, video is recorded from a processed canvas so the visible low-light treatment, timestamp, case ID and live sensor data are permanently burned into the saved clip. If the browser cannot record a canvas stream, the app explicitly falls back to raw camera recording rather than faking the overlay.

Assess the location for ordinary safety hazards before walking around in low light. Identify chargers, speakers, wiring, magnets and other obvious contamination sources. Enter the case/location and investigator information above. Set the phone down and keep the area steady during the 7-second calibration. Listen to and note the normal ambient sounds before asking questions. Ask one question at a time and leave a quiet pause for later review. Use headphones if Sweep Noise and EVP recording are used together. Use MARK EVENT or a field note whenever a normal contamination source is discovered.
