It hit me this week—hard and sudden—that I’ve been missing something. Not a person, not a place… a feeling. One I hadn’t truly felt in years.

It was wonder.

I was exhausted, neck-deep in the real-world swirl of responsibilities. But as I took a rare pause and thought back, I remembered something that once carried me through the chaos of life: Star Wars. Not the brand. Not the modern machine. I’m talking about my Star Wars. The one that came alive in 1977 and shaped my imagination ever since.

That spark has been buried under the debris of disappointing sequels and corporate noise, but it’s still there. I caught a glimpse of it again when I stumbled onto an animated fan film based on “Heir to the Empire.” Crude? Maybe. But I saw heart. I saw a creator doing it for the love—not the likes. And I remembered what that felt like.

So this week, I started taking Star Wars back. For me.

It doesn’t need to be yours. But I know what mine looks like now—and that’s enough to bring the wonder back.

Remember: The Force IS with YOU. ALWAYS!

P.S./Editor’s Note:
This weekend, I’m unpacking the deeper story behind that feeling—and how it ties into creativity, purpose, and reclaiming your joy. Then on Monday, April 28th, we kick off a new series right here on Embracing the Spark. Stay tuned.
