If you could bring back one dinosaur, which one would it be?

Not the corporate satellite-fed filler. Not the clickbait podcast loop with 14 minutes of ads and two minutes of personality. No—I’m talking about the dinosaur that mattered. The real one. The one that lived, breathed, and connected.

I’m talking about the person in the booth—headphones on, mic live, heartbeat syncing up with the signal. A voice not polished to AI perfection but real. Present. Vulnerable. Sharp when needed, soft when it mattered. You didn’t just hear them—you felt them. Because they were there… for you.

And the greatest listeners of all?

They came out after dark.

You see, morning shows were for the masses. Rush hour. School drop-offs. Coffee-fueled chaos. Afternoon drive? Also solid—an escape hatch from the workday grind. But 7 p.m. to midnight? That was prime time for the soul.

Nobody was in the car because they had to be. They were home. Or out with friends. Or just being. And they turned the dial with intention. They were present. By choice. And when you spoke into that mic at 8:22 on a Thursday night? You weren’t broadcasting—you were conversing.

Live.

Unfiltered.

Right now.

There was no “we’ll fix it in post.” You got it right—or you rode the flub and made it part of the moment. You rolled with it. Because you were human, and your audience appreciated that.

Even the reach—limited as it was—meant something. We weren’t trending worldwide. We were echoing across neighborhoods, counties, towns just wide enough to feel local but big enough to feel alive. That signal was our tether. We weren’t screaming into the void—we were sending a message across the dark, and someone always picked up.

Now, look—I’m not here to pine for the past. I’m not trapped in nostalgia. I’m reminding you of the craft, the connection, the community that broadcast radio built in real time.

And maybe, just maybe… we bring it back.

Not as a format—but as a feeling.

Not with towers—but with truth.

Not as a dinosaur—but as a totem for how we should connect again.

Because the message still matters.

And that’s exactly why I wrote Toys Are Totems—a book about the objects, memories, and moments that still have power. That still broadcast. That still live.

I’ve made it my mission to sell 11,000 copies by December 31, 2025. Not for ego. For impact. For legacy. For the person out there listening—by choice—waiting to feel seen, understood, or just… heard.

🎯 Grab your copy now and join me on this real-time broadcast of becoming.

📘 Toys Are Totems is on the air.

And you?

You’re not just the audience.

You’re the reason we go live.

Now, Go Play!
