What makes a good neighbor?

A nod and a wave. That’s about the best and most I would ask for and offer from any of my current neighbors. Nothing personal, they seem nice enough, but outside of living on the same street, we have nothing else in common.

But, could there be more?

Maybe but I’m good not having those questions answered.

Why?

To me, my home is my Fortress of Solitude. It’s where me and my girls live to live. Relax. Enjoy our non social time on this rock.

However.

In instances of emergency or need, we’d gladly stepped up to the plate, strap on the cape and get to work taking care of our otherwise quiet neighbors.

And they would do the same. How do I know? We’ve done it. Weather instances. Power outages. One time a wreck right across the street where we joined up and ran to the aid of an even more perfect stranger in need.

Couldn’t ask for more as far as I’m concerned.
