A Different Vision for Local Media

For quite a while now, Alicia and I have been working on something that I believe has the potential to make a real difference for Boone County. It’s called the AMP TV Network, and I finally have a short video that explains what it is and why I think it matters.

The idea is straightforward.

Instead of filling airtime with commercials and noise, we want to create television-style programs that answer the questions people face every day. Each episode brings together local professionals, business owners, and experienced people from our own community to share practical knowledge that people can actually use.

The first series is called SOLUTIONS.

The goal isn’t simply to produce twenty-four episodes. It’s to build a permanent library of trusted local knowledge that people can watch today, next year, or ten years from now whenever they’re looking for answers.

Just as important, every episode becomes part of Boone County’s digital footprint. Instead of only telling our story to ourselves, we’re creating content that people anywhere can find online.

Someone searching for answers may discover one of these programs and, in the process, discover the people, businesses, organizations, and resources that make Boone County what it is.

We’re looking for Founding Executive Producers who want to help make that happen.
