When we started this thing on September 1, Halloween was still something you could see coming in the distance. Now tomorrow says October on the calendar and the whole operation changes gears.

I like September because it’s anticipation. You’re unpacking boxes, remembering traditions, noticing the first decorations appear. October is different. October is the show.
