You know what’s wild? For the first time in a long time, I realized this week that Star Wars still belongs to me.
Not the corporate logo. Not the streaming shows. Not the latest HasLab figure drop.
Mine.
The Star Wars that inspired me to write stories, make radio shows, play with action figures like they were sacred tools. The universe that taught me myth and mystery. That version never left—it just got buried under years of noise. Of mediocrity disguised as meaning.
So here’s what I’m doing: I’m taking it back.
Every version I loved—the original trilogy, the special editions in theaters, the flawed but honest prequels, the Clone Wars, Rebels, Rogue One. Even the Saturday morning cartoon guest spots and obscure VHS tapes.
These are my totems now. Not just nostalgia. Symbols of vision. Reminders of who I am and where my spark lives.
To anyone reading this: take back what lit your fire. Whatever it is. You don’t owe anyone an explanation for what inspires you.

Jim’s Note: I actually wrote and scheduled this post four days ago. the synchronicity of this and tomorrow’s post is mind blowing. Also the reason I posted THIS last night. Jung was SOOOOOOOO correct.
Remember: The Force IS with YOU. ALWAYS!
P.S./Editor’s Note:
Sunday, I’ll close out this series with a reflection on what this galaxy far, far away taught me about creativity, resistance, and joy. Then it’s full throttle into our new blog cycle starting Monday.
