What the Galaxy from a Long Time Ago, Taught Me About Myself Right Now

Here’s what I know after this week: I wasn’t just a Star Wars fan—I was a Star Wars creator.

Not officially, no. But in my backyard. My bedroom. My imagination. I was building worlds. Crafting characters. Directing scenes with action figures and cardboard sets. I was learning how to shape myth before I ever knew what myth was.

And now? I’m still doing that. Eerie Entertainment, Ashes of a Cult Classic, Embracing the Spark—these are my universes now. Fueled by the same fire that lit up my childhood. That’s what George gave us. That’s what the best of Star Wars gave me: not just escapism, but tools.

Tools for story. Tools for vision. Tools for rebellion when the world wants you quiet and small.

So yeah—I’m a little tired. A little sore from the week. But I’m here. And I’m holding that spark again.
