Some days you don’t feel like creating. You don’t want to type, build, plot, pitch, or produce. You don’t feel blocked, exactly—you just feel… still. And not the peaceful kind of still. It’s more like your body, your mind, and your soul are all asking you to just… chill the hell out for a bit.
That’s where I’m at today.
And honestly, I’ve learned not to fight it.
Because what I’m realizing—and maybe this hits you too—is that sometimes what looks like a slowdown is actually a signal. A symbolic moment. A pause between phases. What Jung might call a threshold experience.
See, for me, this whole journey started in 1995. Radio. Horror specials. The early echoes of Maxwell Marx. All of that was the call to adventure—the Hero’s Journey kicking off. And I answered it. I’ve been answering it ever since.
But now, in 2025, I’m in a new space. I’m not trying to prove anything. I’m not chasing shiny objects.
I’m trying to tune in—to myself, to the world, to the energy that runs beneath it all.
That’s why sound healing suddenly makes sense to me. That’s why I’m reading Jung again. That’s why I’m taking silence as sacred, not scary.
Dr. Jung would probably say this is the moment the Hero becomes the Artist… or the Sage. The Persona starts to dissolve, and the Self steps forward. Not the ego—but that deep, authentic YOU underneath it all.
If you’re there too—feeling that pull to go inward, to refresh, to reconnect—I want to say: you’re not broken. You’re becoming.
Let this be the plateau. The holy rest stop.
Don’t rush past it. Sit. Breathe. Listen.
Let your own spark remind you of why you started.
And hey—if you’re on that journey with me, check out The Spark Series. I built it for this exact phase. The part where we stop sprinting, start feeling, and maybe… just maybe… start to fly.
