In what ways does hard work make you feel fulfilled?

I like pushing myself to stupid limits and pulling off the “impossible” with no budget.

It feels great at the end of the fight.

HOWEVER

It’s not the smartest way to go about doing anything. Did it get done despite all odds? Yes.

Were compromises made and corners cut? Also, Yes.

Would I do it again. Yes.

But each pass got more and more discouraging.

Why?

Because BEFORE, I didn’t read it for what it actually was: The path to the Hell that is mediocrity and complacency.

Now? Not if I can help it.

And that’s scary. Why? Because I find myself pausing too much for fear of said mediocre results and not wanting to fall back into that loop.

So what do I do?

First step: start and finish writing a book that I truly believe holds substance and worth not just the price but more so its use value.

And I’m still inside of the endurance test for the post publishing portion.

This time however? Mediocrity has no home here although it is still lurking in the shadows.

But the fear is fading day by day…

Now, Go Play.
